Based out of Toronto, Canada, we founded chasewaterfalls to build a socially responsible company that would allow everyday consumers to impact real world problems and lives.
663 million people in the world live without clean drinking water. The majority live in isolated rural areas and spend hours every day walking to collect water for their family. Not only does walking for water keep kids out of school or take up time that parents could be using to earn money, but the water often carries diseases that can make everyone sick.
Access to clean water means education, income and health - especially for women and kids.
For every item purchased, chasewaterfalls provides 2 years of clean water through support of Water.org and charity: water.
Every $1 invested in clean water can yield $4-$12 in economic returns. It’s a solid investment; access to clean water is perhaps the single most powerful tool for sparking economic growth that humanity has ever known.
We have chosen to work with Water.org and charity: water to ensure chasewaterfalls has a truly global footprint and can identify the regions that will benefit most from improved access to water. Learn more about our collaboration with Water.org and charity: water here.
